Congrats SM croppedJoin us in offering a big CONGRATS to Johanna Ibarra!

A Social Studies Teacher at Liberty Middle School in West Fargo, ND, Johanna has been selected to take part in the 2017 PBS Digital Innovators Program! We’re excited to follow Johanna and the 2017 group of classroom change-makers as they participate in professional development and opportunities they will have to share their strategies, empower peers, and inspire students through innovative use of technology and media.

In addition, we would also like to congratulate Nathan Lund, the PBS Digital Innovator chosen from Minnesota. Nate teaches within the Prairie Public Broadcasting viewing area, and we are excited about possible future collaborations with him as well.

DI 2017

Johanna, Nathan, and Darcy Bakkegard (Prairie Public TCP) met up at the 2017 PBS Digital Innovators Summit held in San Antonia, TX.

PBS Digital Innovators set the bar for thoughtful tech integration in the classroom. These K-12 educators are not defined by the gadgets they use, but by the unique way they approach education. Their bold and enthusiastic perspective set them apart as change makers, and unlock new worlds for their students.

PBS Digital Innovators receive ongoing PD through in-person training, webinars, and PBS TeacherLine courses; access to educational technology resources and events; membership into a lively professional learning community, and attend the PBS Digital Innovators Summit!
